The most obvious advantage of the turbocharging is that it can greatly raise the power and torque of the engine through increasing the output volume of the engine. Compared with the engine without supercharger, the biggest power of the engine with the turbocharging can be increased by40%. In addition, the gasoline consumption of the turbo-charged engine is also lower than that of the common engine. Owing to the above-mentioned advantages, the turbo-charged engine is becoming more and more popular. However, the turbo-charged engine is not perfect, because it is very strict with the working environment and maintenance. If it is not used or maintained accurately, this engine can not exert the effectiveness of the pressure charging. Instead, it will generate a lot of errors. In the following article we will discuss some special places of the turbo-charged engine.

What comes first is that you can not drive the car very quickly. Especially in the winter, after the engine is started, you should make it run at the idle speed for some time. It is of great help to lubricate the bearing completely before the blower rotor begins to turn round at the high speed. Therefore, when you start the car, please do not step on the accelerator fiercely. Or else, the oil seal of the supercharger will be destroyed.

Next, you can not switch off the car at once. When the engine works at the high speed for a long time, it should work at the idle speed for three or five minutes and then you can stop it. When the engine works, some motor oil is used to lubricate the supercharged rotor bearing and cool off the engine. If the engine suddenly stops, the pressure of the motor oil will be reduced to zero. The high temperature of the supercharged turbo will be passed to the middle. But the heat can not quickly disappear. As a result, the oil in the turbo-charged engine will become very hot and the bearing will be destroyed. Please remember not to step on the accelerator fiercely and switch off the motor suddenly.

Third, you should keep clean. In order to prevent the dust entering into the impeller, you should clean the air filter on time. Or else, the rotating speed will be not stable and the sealing component will be abraded seriously. Step by setp, the turbocharger will be out of service.

Beans are high in both fiber and protein. The fiber in beans will keep you feeling full, and the balance of carbs and protein will leave you both energized and lean. Beans are a great mid or late evening part of any diet plan.

It’s important to supplement these foods with green tea. Green tea is another “food” that will increase metabolism and decrease appetite.

What I wanted to talk to you quickly about today is different turbo chargers and some of the things that people do with manifolds, dump pipes, different gaskets and washers that are used.

With the manifold here that we have in front of us, this manifold’s been HPC coated and the dump pipe has been wrapped.

The purpose of this is to actually help with the spool-up time of the turbo. If we maintain heat in the manifold it actually helps reduce the spool-up time. So, this whole manifold has been HPC coated, also, the dump-pipe has been heat wrapped.

This is also good for heat distribution in the engine bay because it’s maintaining the heat inside the manifold and not expelling the heat under the bonnet.

Also, with a turbo it’s very important when they are bolted up to a manifold, that all new gaskets and locking nuts are used. There can be a fair bit of vibration from an exhaust system attaching to a turbo which goes through the whole manifold. It’s very common for bolts to come loose.

In this turbo here, it’s had all new nuts and studs put on with locking tabs, along with locking nuts.

An important thing with turbos is a good quality turbo to manifold gasket. There are cheaper and higher quality gaskets available. The type of gaskets that we use are the same as EOM gaskets, which is a thicker gasket, which is three shims internally which are folded together.

These gaskets give a lot more “crush” and is a lot better with heat, and they will handle severe heat all of the time without failure.

Two other acts who have been making a stir on the music scene of late are Swedish duo Niki and the Dove who make goth tinged electro-pop and The Horrors endorsed Toy whose music is inspired by the speedy garage psychedelica of the late 60’s and German art rock of the early 70’s.
