Depends on the dealer, but you will most likely make more selling it privately then through a dealer. go onto http://www.Craigslist.org and put up an add for it, see what kind of bites you can get on it, Good Luck.
depends on what your priorities are. if you just need to get rid of the car quick, sell it to a used car lot. if you need cash but you can wait, sell it yourself. dealers won’t care if you just put new tires on your car or just had a tune-up, or had so-and-so repaired, not to mention they still need a margin for profit, but an individual would take those into account of your car’s cost.
If you want to get the most money, always sell privately. Post an ad on craigslist.org and if you want more people to contact you, include a phone number they can call as well.
Dealers always try to rip you off, that’s how they make money. Selling to dealers are for those people who just want to get rid of the car right away and not have to deal it. They usually sell the car for less than if they had done it privately.
